Sun, sea, sand....... |
You can see why folk flee the cold of the UK to the warm sunshine of Spain and Portugal. Even though it gets cold at night - down to 5 or 6C - the days make up for it. Today we both got a bit sunburnt!
Moving on tomorrow to a site that will hopefully allow us to visit Gibraltar, something we both said we wanted to do at the start.

It's good to hear you still have some sunshine. Very cold here. Did you know HMS Formidable, A/c Carrier was in Gib Oct 1944 to Feb 1945. Chief Stoker Edward Langlands (Nuncy) Was awarded "Freedom of the City" for an act of courage whist on shore leave. Not a lot of people know that. I know several people who have visited Gib, it seems you either love it or hate it. I'll be interested to know what you think after your visit.
